Possible Problems for the exam:
- will these statements produce unexpected results (similar to homework problem)
- critical section problem (mutual exclusion, bounded waiting, progress)
- solve a given problem by using semaphores, an SC monitor, an SU monitor, a selective wait
- a question about the SC monitor toolbox
- integer and vector timestamps

The midterm covers Chapters 1 - 5 and the timestamp section of Chapter 6.
