HOMEWORK 7-------CS332

1)Here are two tutorials on JavaThreads. Read them carefully:

2) Start forming groups for your project(#). As already mentioned, projects will
consist of presentations on advanced java topics(*),conducted by small groups.
Here are some guidelines:

1) regardless of the internal work of the group, each member should be
acquainted with the project in its ENTIRETY.Questions in class will
be addressed to ANY group member, randomly.

2) Here is a template for the presentation

• Generalities on the topic selected
• A little demo (either on a laptop or, if possible, on-line)
• Questions from the instructor and attendees on several issues concerning the topic at hand (**)
• Presentation's length should be about half class length
• All the relevant material should be ready to get posted on-line

(#) group's size should be 5 people (plus or minus one).

(**) try to be well-prepared. However, it is OK to say I don't know;
questions should be written down and answered by the next lecture

(*) a partial list of topics include:

• JDBC
• SWING
• SERVLETS/JSP
• JAVA BEANS
• RMI
• JAVA SECURITY/CRYPTOGRAPHY
• JAVA 2D and/or 3D API
• NETWORKING
