Students will work
in an individual project dealing with various aspects of
experimental computer science.
Each student will submit a proposal for an experimental project
dealing with a quantitative analysis of a computer system, algorithm,
and/or method of interest to the student.
The deliverables are:
a technical report and a short presentation to the
class to be given on December 10, 2007.
The technical report should have the following sections:
- Introduction
- Problem Description
- Methodology Used
- Analysis of Results
- Concluding Remarks
The technical report should have no more than 15 pages (font size no smaller than 11pt and
no larger than 12pt, single space) including figures, tables, plots, and bibliography.
Please pay attention to the technical contents as well as to the organization
and readability of the report. Use grammar and spell checkers.
