Students who have completed a non-credit course in Java or have a Java certification may take a departmental credit by exam test for IT 108.

You may only take this test once. The test is normally given at the start of each term and in the Summer. If you pass, you receive 3 credits, but no grade and should not register for the course. These units do not count towards GMU residency requirements and do not count towards the current term's unit load.
